About Rita

Rita Vandeveer Rose was born in Oak Park, Illinois, grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois, and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1959. She is a 1964 graduate of North Central High School and attended Indiana University Extension (now IUPUI). After 43 years as an entertainment reporter and editor for The Indianapolis Star, she retired from the newspaper in 2007. Rita lives in Indianapolis with her cat, CJ. This is her first book.
